Abstract

IBM SanFrancisco provides application developers with a base set of object-oriented infrastructure and application logic components. These components are delivered as a set of frameworks, currently covering the domains of general ledger, warehouse management, order management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. After a brief overview of the IBM SanFrancisco frameworks, its structure and contents, we will discuss the requirements for new application development tools, and practical research done to show the effectiveness of such tools.
