Abstract

In this paper we present an application of nonlinear symbolic simplification techniques to analog circuits using Analog Insydes. The goal is to get insights into the circuits' behavior and to generate efficient behavioral models. After describing the different simplification techniques and the ranking methods we explain how to generate a pin-compatible macro model. In an example, the algorithm is applied to a nonlinear square root function block.
