Abstract

ER'97 Workshop on Behavioral Modeling was held to consider the questions of what constitutes a "good" behavioral model, and assuming we have such a "good" behavioral model, what issues related to design transformations we should explore. This very international workshop included interesting and high-quality papers on both of these topics. The proceedings are available electronically through the World-Wide Web [10]. This paper summarizes the contributions of the Behavioral Modeling workshop and suggests directions for future research in behavioral modeling.
