Abstract

In order to design database replication scenarios in highly distributed environments it is necessary to investigate different options of replication. Based on this taxonomy of replication, we analyze how these types of replication can be implemented using Oracle8i. In the CommCoop project we show how replication is used to support value-chain integration.
