Abstract

A legal advisory system is in principle an information system that does not collect and store data but regulations. In our system ADONIS regulations are stored in form of an object-oriented model that can be investigated by queries. Since regulations are frequently a subject to changes, the system has been implemented using adaptive programming to achieve a simple, cheap, and reliable maintenance. In this contribution, we present our experience with applying the adaptive programming technology for the purpose described above.
