Abstract

E-mail is a vital application. However, most users rarely consider the programming issues involved due to the seeming complexity. Fortunately, Perl makes e-mail programming relatively easy. This paper demonstrates Perl's e-mail functionality using examples which include automating e-mail for use in an online survey and a command line script for sending e-mail with attachments.
