This paper describes a distributed simulation of ecosystems in the Internet. It is accomplished by means of an object oriented continuous simulation language, called OOCSMP, and a Java (and C++) generating compiler (called C-OOL) for this language. We have extended the language with some primitives to provide for distribution. Sinchronization points are added automatically by the compiler, which generates the distributed Java code using RMI packages.
