Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a meta-language,used to create generalized markup languages. ActiveCycle Diagrams are a specification language to describediscrete event models and it has been deployed in manysimulation software environments. This work presents aspecification for an XML for simulation models by usingActive Cycle Diagrams, named eXtensible Activity CycleDiagram Markup Language (XACDML). XACDML isdesigned to allow easy exchange of simulation modelinformation on the Internet. With XACDML, simulationsoftware environments are able to inter-operate andprovide a more integrated approach for simulationprocess.
