To investigate the performance of Smart Antennatechnology applied in mobile terminals, the simulation ofmulti-antenna system requires spatial channel model, which should reasonably characterize the effects ofwireless channel, such as time-varying, multipath-fadingand Doppler effects, between base station and mobilehandsets. This paper presents space-time vector channelmodel fit for these demands. Based on the Lowpass-Equivalent Impulse Response, the diverse stochasticparameters of the channel, such as DOA/TOA andRayleigh fading, are discussed with full length. The finialsimulated channel data produced by this model isconsistent with previous theory and measurement, whichexhibits its feasibility for the further investigation ofdifferent smart antenna algorithms or Joint Detectiontechniques.
