Abstract

Multimedia presentation systems require flexible supportfor the modeling of multimedia content models. Manypresentation systems provide the synchronized, sequentialor concurrent, and possible interactive, transfer ofstreams multimedia data such as audio, video, text andannotations using with network facilities. However, ourthrough investigation of exist standards and applicationsfor multimedia documents models such as HTML, MHEG,SMIL, HyTime, RealPlay and MS Windows Media let usto find that these standards and applications models donot provide adequate support for reuse and adaptation.Consequently, we propose a new approach for themodeling of reusable and adaptable multimedia content. We developed a comprehensive system for advancedmultimedia content production: support for recording thepresentation, retrieving the content, summarizing thepresentation, weaving the presentation and customizingthe representation. This approach significantly impactsand supports the multimedia presentation authoringprocesses in terms of methodology and commercialaspects.
