The paper reports on the suitability and stability of the NHPP and trend curve software reliability growth models. For evaluating these characteristics, we applied these models to our actual software development projects. The study shows that the NHPP model fits our projects well. Furthermore, it also suggests quality control limit curves for more effective application of these models.
