Abstract

Our immersive programming system allows programs tobe edited and controlled by direct manipulation and handgestures in an immersive virtual environment utilizingmultimodal interfaces. It lets beginners focus on learningthe essence of programming without requiring familiaritywith the keyboard and commands of a conventional editor.
