Abstract

This paper describes a curriculum unit in which APL is used to introduce a simple information processing model known as “Pandemonium” [1]. It begins by describing the structure of the model; then the corresponding APL representation is given; the curriculum unit is outlined; and, in conclusion, implications for further developments are mentioned.
