The widespread availability of microcomputers makes them an ideal tool for use in modelling and discrete event simulation studies. A simple-to-use, simple-to-implement, highly portable simulation package has been designed for implementation in the very small computer system environment. The simulation system is event-oriented with predeclared list, queue and facility data structures. This system is modern in that it is data typed and block structured. In this way, the system is very Pascal like. The paper contains an illustrative programming example and discusses the implementation and portability of the entire package.
