Abstract

The GAP package has been developed to permit the linking of standard GPSS models to a series of FORTRAN subprograms. Since the GAP subprograms are transparent to the user, knowledge of the FORTRAN language is not needed. GAP provides an easy mechanism to obtain, among other things, values from a number of standard statistical distributions, permits the loading of MSAVEVALUEs and other SNAs using data cards and provides statistical analysis of the GPSS model output.
