Abstract

Western Electric in conjunction with Bell Laboratories has implemented a design through manufacture user orientated design automation system for Electronic Switching Equipment. The contents of this paper will highlight the middle system of the NODAL-SWESS-SPIDER CAD/CAM network that supports and/or controls design engineering information and manufacturing processes.
