Abstract

The associate degree program in computer programming which services as the first two years of a bachelor's degree is a unique model. This 2+2 model is effective in keeping the articulation problems with community/junior colleges at a minimum. Described in the paper are the environmental, college, and departmental settings, and the curriculum requirements within a typical semester sequence of a business oriented two-year program for computer programmers.
