Abstract

An extension to APL is presented which allows a very high level treatment of abstract data. Its greatest application is to the problem area of data structure manipulation. A set-theoretic notation is introduced that allows concise but lucid handling of structural components and information content. Short illustrations of syntax and usage, as well as a complete program for insertion into an AVL sort tree are exhibited.
