An airport simulation system has been developed for general use in evaluating and comparing design and operational alternatives of airport master plans. A key feature of this system is the capability for producing computer-drawn motion pictures of simulated airport operations. Experience to date has shown that these films are very effective for detecting flaws in the model, and of instilling user confidence in the model and the meaning of the statistical results.
