We have constructed EventStream data collectionand analysis software framework to support a widevariety of sensors that measure user's physical state. Theframework's open software architecture allows thesoftware developer to incorporate easily new types ofinput sensors and new data analysis outputs. The framework has been employed to conductexperiments with a questionnaire and a cognitive gamewhere eye tracking system, emotion mouse, biosensor andoximeter were used as input sensors. The various outputs implemented include a humanreadable table format that conforms to statisticalpackages, event-specific XML as well as graphicalplotting analysis tool. We offer overview of theframework's functionality and discuss its use for cognitiveload experiments.
