In this paper, an approach on concurrent software development is proposed. In addition, the implement principles of an integrated developing environment for concurrent software based on Object Oriented Petri Net (OOPN) with multi-computer coordinate working are briefly introduced. Under this method, two programming levels of concurrent software design are adopted. The top level is for concurrent part modeling by drawing Object-Oriented Petri Net pictures. The bottom level is for sequential part programming by using traditional high-level languages. OOPN-IDE (Object Oriented Petri Nets based Integrated Development Environment) is the research fruit for the methodology [1]. It can make both concurrent part of Petri net pictures and the sequential part of high-level language programs be integrated as a completely concurrent program automatically.
