Triangulation and topology optimization methods are proposed for optimal matching of the two-dimensional elements wh.ich. are obtained from the complicated three-dimensional structure. To improve the matching performance in constructing the th.ree-dimensional elements, the topology optimal transformation method among th.e triangulated elements has been proposed. The probability of optimal match.ing between two cross sections is increased by th.e topology transformation. The construction of threedimensional elements obtained by these meth.ods can make it possible to analyze th.e structure variously.
