Abstract

In this paper, we present a framework which allowsadapted content delivery for different target contexts. Thisframework is based on a Universal Profiling SchemaUPS for describing the environment characteristics andon an profile exchange protocol. In the server and theproxy side, we give a strategy for matching the differentconstraints (clients, servers, content, etc.) in order to findan agreement between the server adaptation capabilitiesand the client preferences and constraints. Usually suchenvironments are subject to frequent changes. To tacklethis difficulty, we propose a dynamic adaptationapproach based on XSLT for structural transformationand resource aware transcoders for the mediaadaptation.
