Abstract

Inter-AS routing is difficult to control since advertisedinter-AS routing information changes as it spreads throughASs that are managed based on each own policy. For operating the Internet reliably as we intend, we propose flexibleand autonomous policy control environment AISLE. AISLEuses cooperative actions among distributed agent to knowand control inter-AS routing behavior. This paper describesAISLE model and architecture that enable policy control atthe inter-AS level.
