This paper presents the main characteristics of the Palas-X Software Development Environment (SDE). A first section briefly describes the software structure. Then, current tool integration principles are discussed, and the Palas-X approach is presented. The third section introduces the language of logical constraints, which makes it possible to parameterize the SDE (methodology, configurations, man-machine interface). The fourth section presents the Palas-X inter-project communication. We then conclude on the portability of the SDE.
