Abstract

Partitioning is a fundamental operation on graphs. In thispaper we briefly review the basic concepts of graph partitioningand its relationship to digital mesh processing. Wealso elaborate on the connection between graph partitioningand spectral graph theory. Applications in computergraphics are described.
