Abstract

Evacuation Simulator by utilization of VR technique is proposed as a tool for analysis of human decision at evacuation from a ship under casualty. The configuration of the simulator was determined and the prototype of the simulator was built. Further test experiments were carried out for checking the prototype. From the experiments, it becomes clear that the analysis method of evacuees' decision by using the evacuation simulator would be appropriate for the purpose.
