In the world of E-Commerce, enterprises face the challenge of rapidly adapting to dynamic business environments. Enterprises are required to have closer connections with business partners and customers along with the ability to invent new business models to meetcustomer's unique demands. Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) provide a way to model, deploy, and manage mission-critical business processes that span multiple enterprise applications, corporate departments, and business partners. The paper highlights how BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) facilitates the modeling of business processes that can be executed in a BPMS, with the aim of integrating the business infrastructures. It also mentions some of the areas that it fails to address adequately.
