Abstract

For the real-time computing, an operating system is one of the most important component, to realize the required computing functions with time critical conditions. In this paper, OS Route MIX is proposed for evaluating OS performance. By applying this performance measure, the practical OS designs are shown. To improve OS performance, "Three layers structure model" is defined, to add an OS process as one of OS function implementation, that is a way of simplifying OS design and making performance improved. The practical results and data are shown.
