Abstract

The paper conceptualizes and discuss the process of building up of customized decision support system for the design of Learner Centric course curriculum in the realm of Web enabled Education and analyzing the efficacy of the same with respect to changing market demands. At the micro level the paper initiates the process of building decision support system using Object Oriented Programming in C++ based on the institutions own experience and expertise. As a case study Digital Logic Method is exemplified and a program is developed in C++. The program is demonstrating the possibility of developing such program code as and when new finding or realization is met with as object orientation facilitates building up the software in terms of independent entities called classes. This demonstration is aimed at making people develop their own customized solutions rather than resorting to generic commercial hardware and software solutions. Our study also shows that to sustain the onslaughts of market forces the education and training should be subjected to value addition process by integrating emerging technologies and initiate the students to the processes of skill development required for starting new ventures in field of entrepreneurship, research, product design and Education etc.
