Abstract

This paper proposes to build a mobile network management environment using the middleware concept. The main idea is create a software layer that provides a set of basic functions to support the management application. The objective is modeling the network management entities like wireless devices, from the point of view of their nomadic behavior and automatically association with the local environment. Thus the middleware will implements the functions that recognize the devices states and translate it to a management event or task. The middleware design presents a four layer framework, where each layer has a well defined function.
