The research of service management information modelcan bring forward the following benefits: unified serviceplanning and provisioning, consistency among thefunctionality models in the service supply chain andcorrectness of the mapping between managementrequirements and management functions. In this paper, wehave proposed a lifecycle-based generic modeling methodon service management information, which adopts arequirement mapping in a top-down manner to definemanaged objects in the segments of service lifecycle. Themodel can be referenced as a meta-model to direct thedevelopment of service management systems.
