In this paper, we proposed a new approach tomodel video traffic H.263 encoded. By introducingmarginal matching technique and a variable ofuniform distribution in different manners, we get twomodified models, called MMB-DAR(1)(MarginalMatching Based-DAR) and MMB-DAR(2), respectively. The simulation results show that two MMB-DARmodels can simulate the video traffic more steadilyand accurately than GBAR and DAR models.Especially, the MMB-DAR(1) model is simple torealize, which can save our time to study sourcecontrolling algorithms. At the same time, we correctedone unilateral standpoint brought forward in [4].
