A snap-stabilizing protocol guarantees that the systemalways behaves according to its specification provided someprocessor initiated the protocol. We present how to snap-stabilizesome important protocols, like Leader Election,Reset, Snapshot, and Termination Detection.WeuseaSnap-stabilizing Propagation of Information with Feedbackprotocol for arbitrary networks as the key module in theabove transformation process. Finally, we design a universaltransformer to provide a snap-stabilizing version of anyprotocol (which can be self-stabilized with the transformerof [15]).
