Abstract

For systems of the form “potentially dangerous object—means and measures of protection—dangerous and harmful factors,” consideration was given to the concept of multiple-parameter modeling and the possibilities of (fuzzy) risk evaluation which was intended for determining the asymptotic safety (risk) indices in the presence of fuzzy and/or incomplete source data about the system due to the cost or time constraints. This approach can be characterized as a fusion of the concepts of absolute safety and acceptable risk.
