The requirement to realize large-capacity, high-speedand guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) communica-tions in IP networks is a recent development.A tech-nique to satisfy these requirements, Multi-Protocol La-bel switching (MPLS) is the focus of this paper. In thefuture, it is expected that congestion and faults on aLabel Switched Path (LSP) [1] will seriously affect ser-vice contents because various applications are denselyserved in a large area.In MPLS, however, methods tosolve these problems are not clear. Therefore, this s-tudy proposes a concrete traffic engineering method toavoid heavy congestion, and at the same time, endeav-ors to realize a fault-tolerant network by autonomousrestoration, or self-healing.
