Abstract

Future applications of Bluetooth are likely to includead-hoc networking.Therefore, it is desirable to intercon-nectmultiple Bluetooth piconets to form a scatternet.Upto now, there is no extensive proposal for scatternet sup-portavailable.In this paper, we present and analyze anadaptive scheme for scatternet scheduling that bases onsniff mode and thus does not require substantial modifica-tionof the current Bluetooth specification.The suitabilityof our approach is shown by first simulation results.
