We describe a real-time object tracking system based on acolor camera and a personal computer. The system iscapable of tracking colored objects in the camera view inreal-time. The algorithm uses the color, shape and motionof the object to achieve robust tracking even in thepresence of partial occlusion and shape change. A keycomponent of the system is a computationally efficientmanner to track colored objects which makes it possible todo robust real-time tracking.
