The increasing complexity in the development of distributedsystem has promoted the appearance of new softwaretechnologies that complements compositional frameworktechnology providing a high degree of separation ofconcerns. One of these approaches is aspect-oriented programmingthat introduces a new entity, the aspect, to modelthose features that cut across different components in thesystem, increasing its extensibility and configurability. Ourgoal is the application of this new technology to develop anaspect-oriented application framework to construct highlyreusable collaborative virtual environments in short time.
