Abstract

Abstract: Multimedia presentations are difficult to handle in existence of user interactions and complex synchronization requirements. In this paper, we present a synchronization model which can handle both time-based and event-based actions. The model can cope with the VCR-type user interactions. We also give a simple rule-based synchronization specification language which does not complicate as user interactions are allowed.
