Abstract

Forms offer considerable potential in office automation systems: they are able to facilitate the changeover from manual to computer-based systems, they provide the correct interface for a wide variety of users and they reflect the logical relationship between entities in an office system. Unfortunately, very few programming languages support this concept. We describe the implementation of forms as an abstract data type in the wide-spectrum language EPROL.
