Abstract

This paper provides a detailed but informal survey of the Timber programming language and its characteristic features. The exposition is mostly based on code samples rather than formal semantic techniques. However, we do introduce the semantic model that underlies one of Timber''s main contributions: the way that time in integrated into the language.
