This document describes the current implementation of the x -kernel message library. The focus is on its data structures and the underlying principles. This document does not describe the message librarys in-terface or how it is used. Please refer to the x -kernel Programmers Manual [1] and the x -kernel Tutorial [2] for that purpose.
