Abstract

The use of CASE in Software Engineering and Systems Analysis andDesign courses is relatively recent. This paper defines CASE anddiscusses its brief history, its attitude toward softwaredevelopment, its components, its current state and usage, itspromise and future, its use at LSU-Shreveport, and finally arecommendation for its use at other colleges and universities.
