Abstract

Hypermedia design is usually ad hoc. Whereas theoriginal Relationship Management Methodology (RMM)provides a structured approach to design andimplementation of hypermedia applications, it haslimitations that constrain the usability of the kinds ofapplications it can construct. This paper providesextensions to RMM that enable it to model a much richerclass of applications. Thereby making the methodologymore attractive for software developers to use. The paperalso presents a graphical and programming languagenotation for RMM's new m-slice construct, which is at the core of the extensions presented here.
