Abstract

There are many benefits to incorporating In-SystemProgramming (ISP) in the development andproduction stages of new projects. Engineers arediscovering that, like test, the features to supportISP must be designed in to enable the full benefitsof ISP. There are many issues that should beconsidered during the design stage. These includethe tools to be used, the arrangement of the scanpath, adequate power to support the programmingoperation, and many others. With proper attentionto the initial design, ISP can save significant time-to-market and costs.
