This report summarizes the presentations and relateddiscussions of the first international workshop on Theoryand practice of open computational systems (TAPOCS) atthe twelfth international workshop on Enablingtechnologies: Infrastructure for collaborative enterprises(WETICE). The balance between two topics of opencomputational systems in particular was in focus duringthe workshop discussions: theory and practice. As such,we introduced these topics by means of a presentation onVisions of open computational systems and concludedthem by means of a presentation on an envisionedRoadmap of open computational systems.
