Abstract

Wireless LAN has been widely considered for wireless broadbandnetworks with low mobility, which can be generally considered as amatching part for future all-IP cellular networking. This scenarioimposes challenges on providing seamless services among differentnetworks. In this paper, we propose the architecture ofinternetworking between HIPERLAN/2 and UMTS networks. Theframework of the integrated system is proposed and analyzed toevaluate the system performance in terms of scheduling andadmission control.
