Abstract

As the Internet continues to expand and evolve, developers are evolving Multiagent Systems to accomplish a wide variety of tasks, including information gathering. Internet Based Multiagent Systems in computing are becoming more complex, resilient, flexible, adaptive and ultimately more intelligent than single agent systems could be. LawBot is one of a growing community of Intelligent Internet Based Multiagent systems. LawBot consists of a collection of agents that use intelligent search methods to retrieve, filter, and organize collections of legal documents to assist legal research by professionals and laypersons.
