This paper describes XenoTrust, the trust managementarchitecture used in the XenoServer Open Platform: apublic infrastructure for wide-area computing, capable ofhosting tasks that span the full spectrum of distributedparadigms. We suggest that using an event-based publish/subscribe methodology for the storage, retrieval andaggregation of reputation information can help exploitingasynchrony and simplicity, as well as improving scalability.
